In cooperation with GIZ, Leaders of Tomorrow, with the beginning of the year 2021, invited all creative individuals to participate in the Social Innovation Challenge: Educational Solutions Hackathon; an online opportunity for creation, innovation, and constructive cooperation.
The hackathon was designed to cover five themes that aimed at supporting the educational system in Jordan and the learning process for students.
After successfully passing all the hackathon stages, 5 shortlisted ideas were announced as the winners of the challenge to receive a EUR 5000 grant each along with technical support to successfully execute their innovative ideas on ground.
In compliance with COVID-19 regulations and social distancing measures, the activities of the Social Innovation Challenge were designed to take place virtually while taking into consideration the creation of a user-friendly experience, to ensure youth from different ages and backgrounds are able to join the challenge.
