On August 1 and August 2, 2010 young Iraqi refugees gathered at Bait Al Ruwad of the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) in Hashmi Shamali, Amman. The workshops were given by Executive Director of Leaders of Tomorrow Mrs. Judith van Raalten. She is a youth specialist with many years of training and teaching experience at U.S. universities and institutes. For two days the participants worked on improving their communication and leadership skills. Particular focus was given to practicing resume and CV writing, and how to prepare and apply for scholarships and fellowships abroad.
