This Saturday, March 28 2009 turn off your lights from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM!

All over the world, homes and businesses will switch off their lights for one hour. World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and  of 1 billion people took part in this initiative. This year 84 countries, 2,848 cities across the globe are committed to turn off their lights!

The Secretary-General of the United Nations urgers every citizen to take part in this event to show your concern about the global climate change.

Celebrate Earth Day in Jordan

Besides turning of your lights at home, you can visit Wild Jordan Cafe at 6 PM on March 28, 2009 to watch the documentary An Inconvenient Truth, followed by a talk from H.E. Minister of Environment Khaled Irani.
