START ART EDUCATION WORKSHOPS

The Start Art Education workshops have officially ended this weekend. Start Jordan in collaboration with Leaders of Tomorrow and SOS Children – Irbid and Amman,  hosted eight art education workshops in Amman, Jordan. Children who participated created many art pieces, including a 4 meter by 1.5 meter mural. With help from graphic designer Oudie Nimri and Start Jordan coordinator Laila Demashqieh, the young participants each artistically expressed themselves on a 50 by 0.75 meter cardboard, using different materials such as sand, stones, and threads to create their piece of the mural.

EXHIBITION – WHERE?

The art of the children is currently exhibited in the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts.

WHEN?

Make sure you don’t miss it! It will be in the gallery till March 13, 2009. Afterwards the exhibition will travel to the United Arab Emirates and will be exhibited for several weels.

WHAT’S NEXT?
